ABOUT US

I am Lina, a French student aged of 20, pursuing a double bachelor in Social Sciences & Politics (Sciences Po Paris) and History (Université Sorbonne P-IV). I take my third year's bachelor at the University of Bergen in Norway and plan to start a master in urban studies in September.
Coming myself from a rural area, I have always been curious about how to promote and connect territories to urban centres. When I moved to Paris, I also got familiar with a wide span of urban issues I before ignored. I became particularly sensitive to the way men and women behave and appropriate public spaces.
The places we travel to with Aurélie are overflowing of urban and territorial initiatives and innovations but also subject to doubts and dilemma. Check-in is for me an opportunity to explore into details issues that are dear to me and to discuss them with you all. So don't hesitate to leave a comment under our publications: the more participants, the more debates are enriching!
My name is Aurélie, I’m 20 years old and I’m studying politics and social sciences in Sciences Po Lyon. I am currently in my last bachelor's degree year at the University of Bergen and I plan to start a master's degree in International Affairs next September.
In the long term, I would like to focus on geopolitical analysis. I am particularly sensitive to energy issues and I’m trying to understand how countries in different parts of the world are responding to the energy and climate challenges. Nevertheless, I am interested in all territorial issues and I like to question the relationship between the geography of a territory and its place on an international scale.
For me, Check-in is a great tool to practice writing and producing synthetic and clear articles in a field I like. Moreover, it allows me to refine my curiosity and knowledge by questioning myself on issues I may have encountered during my travels. I would be happy to discuss all this with you!
